Stewardship Journey
Through the stewardship journey, we unveil the deceitfulness of wealth and foster family relationships upon love and appreciation for one another through a spirit of generosity, as opposed to materialism.
“The rock I know that stays steady, and the institution that works, is the family.”

FFHK partnered with our Board member Mr Roger Lam to design the Generous Family Journey Day Camp based on his book “Lost and Found: Money vs. Riches”. Through sharing, games and discussion, we foster the opportunity for parents and children to talk about money and discuss the deceitfulness of wealth. The Camp also has an outreach component, allowing parents and children to serve those in need in the community together, in hopes of expanding each participant's worldview by encouraging generosity. Questions addressed at the camp:
-
Is too much material provision a hindrance to learning gratitude?
-
Is the reason for studying hard to make money in the future?
-
Is money omnipotent? Does having money make one all-powerful?
-
Is it more blessed to give than to receive?
